The beach is highly organized with a swimming pool and gardens. The hotels use part of the beach leaving the rest for the general public or those guests of hotels without access to the beach.

It is popular with surfers and just swimming. There are food facilities in the area like fast food outlets, mini market, cafes and restaurants not far from the beach.

This beach is located 50 km south of Rhodes Town, below the famous Acropolis of Rhodes and very near the town of Lindos.

It is a leader of Rhodes Beaches. It's a sandy beach offering visitors all they may expect from the Greece Beaches. The beach is great for swimming and sunbathing and has facilities.

It can be reached by bus or car and by boat from Rhodes Town. It is visited by thousands of people and being that close to Lindos, a wide range of accommodation, shopping and amusement facilities are offered to the public.

It is a very popular beach with British tourists. At the end of the beach in a place called Palace Beach it is less crowded. The waters are shallow making it

• Kolymbia Beach

This beach is located south of the town of Rhodes within a small cove. The beach is very nice and has all amenities for sunbathing and swimming, with sun beds, umbrellas and many water sports.

Despite all this it is still a calm place to spend your day. The waters are crystal clear water golden sands and green vegetation around the beach. This beach is a favorite with German tourists. The location between the town of Rhodes and Lindos is another point for this beach resorts.

• Afandou Beach

This is a beach for everyone like families, couples and singles. You may see tents, tourists seeping their cold beer and a hot dog in hand.

The beach is large, about 3 km, sandy with some pebbles, located about 20 km from Rhodes Town.. You have to know that the sea deepens abruptly.

In certain areas of the beach you’ll find a few restaurants, water sports desks and fish Tavernas. It is located near the Rhodes Golf Club.

• Faliraki Beach

Faliraki is located 12 km from Rhodes Town. This beach is the most popular in Rhodes, offering the most amenities. Here you’ll find people of all nationalities with one thing in mind, enjoy a great beach day.

During the day it is full of umbrellas and people on the sand and the waters. In the evening its narrow streets are transformed to a center of night entertainment with night clubs, restaurants and lots of noise.

The Faliraki Water Park is the largest in Europe, offering water slides, black holes, river, rafting slides, an enormous wave pool, an aqua gym and 140 m long giant slide.

Another part of the park is dedicated to children with many fully trained and certified lifeguards on duty.

• Kalithea Bay Beach

Kalithea also spelled Kallithea, is a gathering point of locals on the island, mainly because the short distance from Rhodes Town and also the glamour of The Baths built by the Italians, that are not operating at the moment for renovations.

The beach is made of tiny inlets, coves and rocks around crystal clear green water. Many visitors arrive here by boat from Rhodes Town to admire the Baths.

• Kiotari Beach

This beach located about 60 km from Rhodes City is home to some Luxury Hotels and a few good restaurants and Tavernas. There is shopping strip with everything you need as supermarkets, bakeries and patisseries.

It is considered the most stylish resort on the Beaches of Rhodes, the vast stretch of sand and the beautiful waters attract many tourists that love to enjoy the Greece Beaches.

• Pefkos Beach

This small resort is made of small hotels and rooms for rent. It is mainly visited by groups of Scandinavians, Germans, Austrians and British tourists. This beach is lined by pine trees towering above the village.

The name Pefkos means Pine trees in English. It is a popular beach and great for swimming on its golden sand and azure waters beach. You’ll find all you need here like minimarket, restaurants, cafes and bars.

• Stegna Beach

This beach is located 30 km from Rhodes Town. One part of the beach is frequented by families with children looking for peace and quiet. The other part of the beach is controlled by one of only hotels operating here.

Local villagers use this beach a lot for a quick swim and enjoy some time on the mixture of sand and pebble beach. There are many amenities on this beach for the benefit of visitors.
