Tropical Beaches

The concept of Tropical Beaches means beaches that are located between the two tropics, the Tropic of Cancer north of the Equator and the Tropic of Capricorn south of it.

You may take a world map and see that many countries are located within these two lines. Being closer to the equator brings to these countries a warm climate year round. The best examples of tropical areas are the Caribbean and Central America, the Indian Ocean and the South Pacific.

Seychelles islands

This is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean. The islands seem transported direct from Paradise to the middle of the ocean. The Republic of Seychelles is located on the western Indian Ocean, south of the Equator at a distance of 500 to 1,500 km from the east coast of Africa.

The main island is Mahe, home to the capital Victoria and the International Airport. In Mahe and the surrounding areas are located most of the country’s tourist facilities as well as the most beautiful beaches. Tourism is an important branch of the economy of the islands and it is connected to many European countries as well as flights from different African airports.
